“We stopped in town on our way across the country and stayed at the Silver Saddle. We decided to get lunch there shortly after check-in purely out of convenience. We ended up going there three times during our overnight stay at the Saddle because the food is That Good.

The ingredients couldn't have been more fresh, or the prices much lower. By our second visit, I simply asked them to make us anything they wanted, because I trusted that nothing they could make could possibly be bad. What resulted were the best fish tacos I've ever had, coupled with my first taste of lengua tacos, which were also fantastic.

Today we had platanos and they are served like any self respecting eatery in latin america would serve them - with a bit of fresh crema and cheese on top.
